Code of conduct

  • Builders first: we value doing over talking.
  • Dream big, ship small: big visions, built step by step.
  • Lift others: help, mentor, share.
  • Open and honest: share failures, credit others.
  • Mission over ego: better, cleaner, safer American communities.
  1. Respect everyone. No harassment or discrimination.
  2. Safety first: people, property, airspace and waterways.
  3. Follow the law and OASA security rules.
  4. Protect youth members. See youth members.
  5. Keep member and contract information confidential.
  1. Talk directly.
  2. Ask the project or chapter lead to help.
  3. Escalate to the relevant council.
  4. For technical disagreements, decide with data, tests or a decision record.
Level Example Response
Minor A rude comment Private reminder
Moderate Repeated issues Warning, temporary access limits
Serious Harassment, a safety or security violation Suspension pending review
Severe Threats, harming youth, leaking contract data Immediate removal, and a report to authorities if required

The member hears the concern and can respond. A small review panel decides, not a single person, except for immediate safety. Appeals go to the Core council.
